Public security vs public freedom

There is a first principle of English and from that American law.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackstone's_formulation

“Better the guilty man go free than the innocent man be wrongly convicted.”

That is why we have Constitutional protections in  Court and as part of our legal system.
We are willing to risk the harm a criminal may / will do rather then risk the freedom of all by unchaining the power of the state.  The police may know that a person is guilty, yet if they torture him into a confession and it is proven that they did, that person even a Manson or Darmer walks free.

Yet, the left would take the Second Amendment rights from a whole nation in the name of “protection.”

What next? Legal rights...think how safe we could be if the Government could act against suspected public dangers?...

Ever told someone that  you would “kill him?” Half the people in Brooklyn said.

“I am gonna kill ya” to the other half at one time or another...that is a terrorist statement...shall we arrest the whole city?....

Ever had a fight with your boy/ or girl friend and said things? Ever told your boss off? or that loud annoying neighbor?   To the slammer with you!

Take a look at the people in North Korea....is that what we want America to be?

This is just how foolish and dangerous to the freedom of all this gun ban craze is.
