If any of you still have your historical atlas, take a look at Europe before WW 1. Russia runs from the border of east Germany till the Pacific Ocean. Now keep that in mind. Many of the nations in eastern Europe have a very bad memory of Russian rule. Yet Russia, having been in invaded by France in the 19 century and Germany twice in the 20 century does not trust Europe and wants a buffer zone. Now, also keep in mind that the commies under Stalin murdered millions of people in the Ukraine and tens of Thousands of people in the Baltic states.( they also murdered millions of Russians) No one, given their bloody history, trusts any one in that part of the world.

Democracy and and accepting the will of the voters? Sure but ONLY if we win comrade!!
As I sit here pipe and cup in hand thinking of history, what else right?
The last presidential election I can recall where the two sides did not HATE each other was 1960.
Sure one side wanted Nixon other JFK but except for some very few nuts who hated "catolicks" on principle, the two sides did not hate. In fact Kennedy and Nixon were very good friends. Now the far left did hate Nixon since he defeated back in the 50's in Cali. "the pink lady" Look it up for HW.
By 68 all that had changed. My generation had split and boy do we HATE each other.
Forget Lee and Grant...Think Jackson and Butler( look them up for HW)
Nixon won in 68 and the media hated him with a true hate and used Watergate to drive him from office. Carter and Ford were place fillers, but Reagan, the Rinos, lie about it now, but the establishment GOP and the Dems hated Reagan almost more than Nixon. Many returned that hate with Clintion They with Bush..selected not elected.. and many hated Obama. Now? Left hates Trump. In fact it has reached the point where they and the establishment GOP hate him and Trump has yet to take office!!!!!!

But Americans dont like dynasties so the dems had to run Sanders who the DNC saw as an old joke and the RNC had to let Trump run. Sure GOP party bosses hate him, but they needed his money and if annoyed enough, he had the fame and the money to run third party and split the ticket..But establishment never in their wildest dreams figured that he would get the nomination let alone beat Clintion!!

Race and the world
Opinion.
As an American of the civil rights generation, I tend to see race as a black white issue.
But it seems that the whole "race question" has become world wide in the WEST.
Europe sees Islamic migration not as a religious question but one of race. It seems that the dread cry of "racism" may be raised anywhere in the west.
I think the connection is made to the "NAZIS" ..look at all of the WW ll movies and TV shows!!
If you do not accept the PC mindset..ya gotta have a picture of Hitler on the wall and jackboots under the bed.
I know the Japanese dont buy Nor do people I know from China ..It appears to be a mental Illness of the Christian West.

WE are a republic where power is shared by the local, state, and federal governments and the federal government, being by its nature the most powerful , was the most feared by it's creators, and so limited by both a system of separation of powers and checks and balances. Democracy is a form of unchecked power. A government where any thing can be done by majority vote. You think that is "cool" right? Ok. the majority decide that having slaves is "cool" so they vote to reconstitute slavery, or perhaps you know ________________ ( fill in the blank with any group you dont like) those haters are always making trouble ..haters...lets send them to reeducation camps!

The Christmas attack in Germany
I was thinking about the Christmas attacks in Germany. Now the Germans are a very controlled people and in order not to be disbursed after WW ll, they like Japan have needed to project a meek image. I was just thinking of this electoral collage business.
I was just thinking of this electoral collage business. It is true that it is in the Constitution, . But the point the never Trump types and PC are missing is that this is not 1787! At that time, 1787, even in the USA, the right to vote for president, was to a large degree restricted to men who owned properity. 90% of the people did not vote for president and did NOT expect to. How many of us EXPECT a ride on Air Force 1 today? But this is NOT 1787! Since about 1828 the right to vote was extended to all Americans, till today when all Citizens can vote. We see and hold and demand that our right to vote be respected. To try and overturn the election would create a level of civil unrest not seen in the USA since 1860!!! If the never trumps or the PC sjw like it or not Trump played by the rules now in force and he won. Americans simply will NOT let their votes be taken away. The powers that be in both parties KNOW that. So I think Trump will be President and the PC in both parties will do their all to block or impeach him if they can, note I said "If they can." But he Trump will be president come jan 20 2017..

Why has the "Socialist revolution" NEVER worked in America? Simple. The American people have HOPE. We are not born to a class that we MUST stay in. We can work our way UP. So say I just get off the boat or the plantation or just cross the border, I may well have to work hard in the factory or the fields but MY kids? They will get an education and work in the office or start their own business; and my grand kids? Senators or millionaires or president !!!!!!! We have hope! we are Americans!.. The commies, the would be nobles, KNOW they must KILL that hope. Our hope of raising, of, getting into the middle class, If they are ever to take power. So be happy and work for YOUR future! ..Make a commie miserable : ) Know and believe that the best days are ahead!!!!

He had heard Grrr roaring and came to offer "guidance".
"My dear Grr"' He said "You must embrace the fact that Little Gretta is learning to drive and while it is true that many dinos have accidents and are sometimes killed"
Grrr's eyes started to turn RED. Little Gretta was HIS little girl!
"Oh Doc..you might want to change the subject" Bob said.
" Bob, you are only a history teacher. I have a Ph.D in Dino-guidance, so if you don't mind?'

Stef and Gretta found this new physical fitness program on TV called "Classical Stretch"
They love it. Both think it has done well for them, and so, being good wives, they are after Bob and Grrr to join them.

Singing in the Cave
Grrr, Bob, Doctor H and Al Gator, had refused to learn to play golf. that is Grrr, Bob and Dr. H had refused to learn. Al Gator, being native to Florida, already knew the game.
The ladies had gone to lunch at the "Organic Cafe" and the guys were singing in the garage.
They had all grown up when folk music was in and were singing songs from their youth.
Bob sang "Blowing in the Wind" Al sang "Westminster cathedral" and Dr. H "Puff the magic Dragon

Zombie movies ...
Vlad, the Vampire was talking with Bob and Grrr.
“I tell you,fellas, der movie business iss kaput.”
“In our day, Grrr and I, ve were artists, und der craft meant something! Now, it iss der zombie thiss und der zombie that. It is enough to make you want to return to der old earthbox and sleep for a century or two und I vould too but vhen I awoke, I fear, it vould be vorse .”
“Tell me about it.” replied an agreeing Grrr. “You went to school when we were in the business, you studied the old pros, every movement of your claw or twitch of your tail was meant to convey the mood to the audience. Gretta and I practiced a five minute shot for days getting our parts just right. Now? A bunch of extras in torn clothes with a bit of dirt and plastic blood is a movie....”
Vlad nodded in sad agreement. "Grrr is right Bob. There is no soul and without soul there can be no art. It is enough to make a nosferatu take a walk on the beach in der sun!!!!!"
