Vanity and the "Living Constitution"
When I was young and taking my first Constitution class, the prof told us of the 'Special genius of the American Constitution, that it was a LIVING document and that it evolved". He gave the impression that only we Americans were smart enough, noble enough,  to make it.
I fell for it ..Vanity will get ya every time...it has been working since the snake got Eve.
"The living Constitution" theory is the rational for allowing judges to decide what is Constitutional and what is not.  It takes power FROM the people and  gives that power to un elected judges.
If, the Congress should pass a law that is unconstitutional, it is up to the PEOPLE to insist that Congress repeal that law or if it will not, elect new Congress people that will.
The "living Constitution" theory gives the power  nullify or create law to judges.
That friends is rule by oligarchy.
The very thing our Constitution was created to prevent.
 Don't fall for it.
