Ok so we ( the party and great leader) make things or control things the masses need and the profit from that production or service is applied to the public good ..roads health care etc..That is the theory ...Yet the PARTY always has special stores (GUM) or goodies that the masses dont and the leader always has a palace or dacha and all the goodies he wants.
In point of fact some schools contend that one of the reasons the old USSR fell was that Gorbachev ,among other mistakes, was trying to take the privileges away from the party and create pure communism. People said if there is NO advantage to ME or MY family from being in the party..why be in the party?
So the party and the USSR fell apart.
You cannot remake human nature but "idealists" will keep trying ..no matter how many millions gotta get "Liquidated"
