One spoon over the line..

 Gretta came running over to Stef.
"Stef, get Bob. Please hurry something terrible is wrong with Grrr!!"
Stef, called ",Bob please come here, Gretta said something is wrong with Grrr."
Running over, Bob asked "What is the problem Gretta...what is wrong?"
"It ..it it's Grrr, I have never seen him like this he..making strange faces and roaring like he want to tear every one to bits. I ..I am frightened..I don't know what to do..I.." replied Gretta.
"Ok, I will go look." replied Bob.
"Dear, be careful of Grrr.." said a worried Stef.
"Not a problem Babe." replied Bob.
As Bob looked into Grrr's cave he saw a dino sized bowl of ice cream on the floor and A BIG T-Rex jumping around and roaring.
Looking at the Bowl of Ice Cream, Bob went over to the sink and filled a large dino sized cup with water.
"Here pal." He said
Taking the bowl of water, Grrr gulped it down. The look of rage and pain left his face.
"Thanks pal.  It was horrible. I was enjoying some  vanilla fudge, when it hit."
"used to happen at class parties." said Bob.
The two pals looked at each other. "One spoon of ice cream too many..

.ICE CREAM BURN!!!!!"
"One spoon over the line old dino...one spoon over the line.
Running around with ice cream burn one spoon over the line."
The pals sang.

The eye thing.

 Grrr and Bob were hanging out in the swamp.
 "I don't  know if it is safe."
"Safe to do what Grrr?" Bob asked.
"Safe to go home."
"What did you do now old reptile?"
"Nothing. "replied Grrr.  Gretta and Little Gretta went to the mall yesterday to pick out some new outfits for college.
I thought that they did that last month?" asked Bob.
"They did. replied Grrr. But for some reason Gretta and LG still have to buy a ton of clothes for school."
Grrrr and Bob exchanged the Guy look and said "ladies" " as both guys nodded.
"Ok, so what has that to do with making it too dangerous to go back to your cave?"
"Their fighting." said Grrr. 
"Who?" asked Bob
"Gretta and LG. Seems that they did not agree over what clothes LG should wear and LG rolled her eyes at Gretta."
"Rolled her eyes?" said Bob.
"Yep. Answered Grrr. I don't know why but that seems to drive Gretta nuts."
I just think that it is funny." Said Bob. 
"Me too. agreed Grrr. But for some reason it drives women dino or human up the wall.

"Stef hates it too. agreed Bob.

At the New natural Organic Tea House.

"Can you imagine Stef?"  Gretta said. 
As they sat in the "New Nature Organic Tea House" over lunch.
"I spent the  whole day helping her.  I did not look at one thing for myself, and she "rolled her eyes".  That outfit was for a dino 10 years older..and she expected to wear it  to college. !!!!"
"We all tried it at her age....but that is no reason  for her to be disrespectful."

especially after you were so kind". said Stef.

" Thank you dear, replied Gretta .  But you know what really annoys me?"
"What Gretta?"   .
"Grrr....He thinks "the eye thing" as, HE puts it, is funny!!!!!!!!!"

"So does Bob." Stef said.

Stef and Gtetta gave each other the "Girl-look"  

 "Guys!"  they said as they sipped their tea.

The meaning of life

Bob the human  and Grrr the mighty T-Rex  were sitting by the swamp enjoying coffee and rootbeer when Grrr happened to look over at his human pal and noticed that Bob looked troubled.
"What is the matter pal...out of coffee?" asked Grrr.
"No. I was reading some philosophy and it got me thinking about the meaning of existence.'" replied Bob.
Grrr roared and replied "No offence pal, but you humans have only been around what 500.000 years ..a 1000,000 at most?"
"What has that got to do with anything with the deeper questions?" asked  an annoyed Bob
"Everything. Pal we dinos have been around 300.000.000 years perhaps longer and we figured it out."
"Ok, Oh  wise reptile, what is the secret of life?" asked Bob.
"Simple old ape. There is no secret. You can tell your friends and your foes not by what they say but by how they act." You get what you can catch and anything "Free" is not. There you go 300.000.000 years of wisdom. Have a donut pal and enjoy the day."
With a smile of enlightenment, Bob reached for the donut box.
Thus speakith Grrr and thus endth the lesson.

The Garage

 As Bob and Grrr finished the snack the wives had given them. Bob looked at Grrr and asked "Ole reptile, what were we fighting about?"  "Hum  I sorta forgot too..But Boy, was it fun!"  "yep"said Bob. "yep" said Grrr."Say pal, look at this garage` We sorta made a mess and the JP movie marathon starts in 40 minutes!"

"True guess we better fix the place before Stef or Gretta see it and fight after the movies."

"Yep" agreed Grrr.

The two pals fixed the garage and enjoyed their movies at Vlad's movie palace.

Wives : )

Stef and Gretta were sitting in the living room having some organic tea and looking at pictures of Gretta and Grrr's trip; They heard a banging and roaring coming from the garage.

Gretta smiled and said: Looks like the boys are at it again."

"yes" agreed Stef with a smile. "Bob missed Grrr.'

"I know. It was the same with Grrr. "I gotta tell the ole ape about this." Gretta said in a soprano copy of Grrr's deep voice.

As both wives were laughing, a deep CRASH came from the garage.

"I think they may be getting a bit too wild." said Stef.

"I think you are right. We had better mellow them out." said Gretta.

Picking up trays of Coffee and donuts and Bronto burgers and rootbeer the two wives headed for the garage.

As the ladies entered the garage, the two guys were yelling and chasing each other around the place.

"We figured you boys might like a snack." they said.

"Thanks babes." Said Bob and Grrr as they stop fighting to eat.

Harmony restored. The ladies exchanged the "Wife-look" smiled and went back to their tea.

Part 3 T Rex at a supermarket

But what is this about you and JP? I figured that you were done with acting.

"I am. Well Kinda. It was a favor to the kid and more to Bruce. You know how he is."

"I do. What was the problem. It had to be important to make Bruce the Shark ask for a favor. He is the sort that will give ya his right arm...uh..fin but die before he would ask for help.

"You got that right" that is why I was surprised. Seems the last few dino pics have not done as well by a long shot as JP 1 and the studio is owned by an old pal of Bruce's that and to top things off his pal from the union called. Seems unless things turn around a lot of folks will get the ole pink slip. Bruce offered to hire them and to make a loan to the studio till times get better. But they sort of think like Bruce and us so ya know"

"Yep so what has that got to do with your picture. You going back to the screen?" A

\How did it go with young  Cthulhu?" asked Grrr.  Gretta missed Stef."

" He Passed.  said Bob. Seems the other boys at school  were calling him "Slimey face."  He just insulted them back as any kid would, but when they called his mother names he lost his temper. That is when he sent the other boys  to the "Nameless hell".

He did let them out when he cooled off. But someone told and the school had to do something. 

Still I cannot altogether blame the boy. You know Jr High and how kids react if any  insult their mothers. Frankly. I would not think much of a boy who just let it slide and did nothing. He turned out to be a nice kid and a very good student, His mom and dad were happy as well'. "

"You met his dad? I understood that you apes went nuts if you saw the old guy?" "

"Oh, he, like his wife, can project a human from if  he wishes. He came over looking  like a Prof tweed  suit and all. He was happy that the kid passed and he Thinks like us. He gave me a bound collection of Lovecraft as a thanks gift, Nice guy. In fact he heard about our lair and asked to join. I told him I would speak to you and Al Gather about that.  On the whole seems like our sort of guy. Glad you asked me to tutor his son."

"Thanks pal, I owe ya one" replied Grrr.

"It is OK, but what was with the movie,,and why did Bruce have to call you of all beings? He knows you retired.

"Seems the last few were not as buffo as the first ones, and well, Jr  has the acting bug and does the physical stuff I used to do. But he does not have the ROAR down yet and that makes the flick. So when Bruce called and as it helps the kid as well, what could I say but yes"?  But,I tell ya pal, I am glad to be home star-land is nuttier than ever."

Tomorrow;   The meeting...

At the Supermarket a T Rex? part 2

 Pulling up out side of Grrr" cave, Bob and Stef got out and walked up the drive; to see a happy Gratta open the door and welcome them.

"Stef dear. I have missed you. The vacation was not as nice as it would have been had you been there"

"I missed you to Gretta dear.  But Bob agreed to tutor Mrs Cthulhu son.Once he started to teach a kid' Even a  Cthulhu. He wont stop halfway..and you know what he is like if I leave him alone.'

"Same with Grrry," Replied Gretta, as the two exchanged the wife look. "I  dont think they would find their heads without us." Said Stef. "True" said Gretta.

After the two friends got done hugging hello. Bob asked" Is Grrr about? I have come to annoy the bum."

Smiling as she let her friend to a table already set with organic tea and cakes. 'He is in the garage fixing something or other. Gretta replied.

"Ok, thanks. I know the way'

Walking into Grrr's garage Bob found a big mug of coffee and a plate of donuts waiting.

At the Supermarket a T Rex?

 Bob and Stef had stopped by the local supermarket to get some  stuff when Bob looked up and saw the magazines over the counterhe saw a picture of Grrr under a JP magazine.

Turning to Steff Bob said  "I guess the old ham went back to acting?" Picking up his cell phone Bob said "I gotta call the bum."

After two or three rings Grrr answered. Grrr Rex here." Wanna you want?"

"it is me you rotten reptile" said Bob 

"Oh sorry old ape. We been getting a lot of sales calls". Replied Grrrr

"Not a problem I find them annoying too. But judging by the magazines it seems you went back to acting?

"Oh that? That was not me,  Well it is and it is not..Stop by the cave and I will fill ya in.
