Ok how "PORK" works; older than Rome. I propose a popular program and pals who know they will need my help for their programs support it Say we start small only $10,000,000 of public money to fund it. Call it "Class in how to be kind". I mean ya do wanta be kind right? or are ya a "hater"? It just so happens that, my supporters Mike and Mary are "kindness instructors." So after I take care of the locals to get permission to give the class say $1,000,000 . I pay Mary and Mike $9000.000 for expenses. Perhaps they hire some people I recommend some people my political pals know, and then M&M kick in say $2000.000 for my reelection. Mike and Mary get to keep perhaps $5,000,000. The program, if I get reelected and they "do the right thing" may get funds every year .This is why pork is seldom cut. You dont take care them..they dont take care of you..Old as Rome. (and if the money is there BOTH parties do it)
