GUN BAN IN THE USA So long Second Amandment

OK THE pc HAVE TOLD US WHAT THEY WANT
EURO STYLE BANS NOW WE KNOW
If they win the second amendment is GONE
Rep. Ted Deutch

@RepTedDeutch
Today I joined @RepCicilline and 150+ of my colleagues to introduce the assault weapons ban. It’s time for Congress to listen to the will of a majority of Americans and pass sensible legislation to get these weapons of war off our streets. #NeverAgain #MSDStrong

Note Rep. Ted Deutch using the words “assault weapons” and “weapons of war,” and then read this paragraph from The Washington Examiner:
The bill prohibits the “sale, transfer, production, and importation” of semi-automatic rifles and pistols that can hold a detachable magazine, as well as semi-automatic rifles with a magazine that can hold more than 10 rounds. Additionally, the legislation bans the sale, transfer, production, and importation of semi-automatic shotguns with features such as a pistol grip or detachable stock, and ammunition feeding devices that can hold more than 10 rounds.
Cicilline’s legislation names 205 specific firearms that are prohibited, including the AK-47 and AR-15.

gUN BANS YOU HVE BEEN WARNED

the semi-automatic firearm "debate" was lost here in 1996/7 when the emphasis by the police/antis/hoplophobes was on screaming "AUTOMATIC" to all and sundry - rather than saying self-loading.

I lost two S/As both Rugers (10/22 & M44) and my 28" barrel Winch M120 and a Bently 18" Riot pump 12GAs in 1997. It was all I needed...then! I had reasonable compensation for my 4 and added a bit of +$$....so now I have 28 "gunz"in my safe(s).
Real 'Aussie gun-control' and an example to the whole world? Greens don't think so

Its more dangerous if they say 'semi-automatic' - towards a gullible and lied-to public; also many Greens still believe you can go into a sports store here and buy 'an automatic' = a machine gun!.....Yipes!! But that's how they win the one-sided media "debates" here.

But it didn't stop mass-murders in Australia of course, they just used something else - including a hammer, arson (Childers Backpacker hostel), large knife etc., etc.

In the quest to manage vertebrate pests (mostly introduced) in Australia the Howard Bans were a big backward step when semi-autos were effectively banned - for most of us.

*My advice - don't give the Greens & Dimos a single f=+^^#ng inch.

Give them one inch and they will take a mile - on a wave of sentimental grief, rapacious/self aggrandizing politicians and half-truths & slander on all gun owners.

(Even in Oz - we get hit again and again every time a mass-murder via a "gun" happens in USA).

Half-truths are called 'fake news' nowadays - I'm told  - but it has worked well in the past against us.....

Judges and their appointment

Federal judges are appointed for life on good behavior. Now there is historical reason for that. but judges were never meant to be lawmakers that power in the American Republic is reserved for the elected legislature, the reason for that is so the lawmakers KNOW that they hold their seat at the pleasure of the PEOPLE and may be removed if they play noble lord. But when a judge is allowed law make..the judge becomes what the framers feared most a ( noble lord) or unelected lawmaker. Think about it. The role of a judge, in my opinion. is to see to it that the rules of the law as it exists are followed in his or her court and that is it. So Bob gets arrested for catnapping and he has signed a confession case closed right? But his lawyer says they beat the confession out of him involution of his Fifth amendment rights and produces pictures taken and dated the hour before the arrist and the now bruised and bloody Bob has not a mark on him. So the judge tosses out the confession and the Case must rest on other proof or fall, the judge cannot say ok becouse ya worked over Bob I am cutting him loose. That would be to change the statue on catnapping.

Constitution 601 theory lll  (a)
Read the Constitution and see for yourself, the federal system it created and the system of checks and than reflect that the people having seen all of that still insisted on a Bill of Right to be added to it . And the reason that Bill of Rights is the First ten (10) amendments, is that it was added AFTER the Constitution was written becouse the PEOPLE demanded it. Reflect on that.

Constitution 601 part lll

The American republic was not a nation of nobles..Some were very wealthy but it was middle class wealth and there is a difference. Among Nobles one is BORN to wealth and power, one can lose one's life but not one's birth status (Noble) So among nobles and to nobles one's word or character was all important. If Baron John gave his word to Baron Peter it had to be kept or Baron John would be seen as a blackguard..an oath breaker and cast out to social disgrace. Far far better to die in honor. This was NOT the case among the commons, wealth and social status could be gained or lost and cheating was almost expected. Bob owns Bill 5 sheep so Bob gives Bill 5 old sick sheep..Good for Bob bad for Bill. So to prevent that the idea of the Contract came about among the Middle Class, oh kings and nobles used them too the famed Magna Carta. But men of business lived by the Contract and they were very very exact., 5 sheep no less than 2 nor more than 5 years of 50lbs with pure pelt in good health and the contract to be enforced by the guild. Of course it was longer and more exact but that is the idea. So when the Constitution the American social contract was drawn up, it was meant to be as clear as possible as to prevent cheating. Tomorrow Balance of power

The object is power

But ya see this (Gun control issue) is not about saving lives in my opinion it is about political control. You see the states in my opinion are free to issue what laws they will in this area and do Are not the gun laws in Ny different than Fl? Even cities have their own laws..ex; the Sullivan act in NYC...So why try and bend or perhaps destroy the BOR?? The object is first centralization of power and then taking control of that power.

Constitution 601 Theory.  ll
In 1781, The new USA was little kid in the school yard alone for the first day of school. Yes. England had agreed to our independence; but only a fool figured England defeated. France and Spain, both far more powerful than the young USA, were still out there. The kings of Spain and France helped us to weaken England, not becouse they approved of Republics; for that matter, some of the Indian nations were still as, if not more powerful than the young USA, as long as England, which they would, would trade guns for fur. We were deeply in debt to Europe and I dont think we could even make cannon on a large scale as most of our manufactured goods came from Europe. Yet, with all that, Men still insisted on a Bill of Rights before they would accept the security and unity of the Constitution.
Tomorrow: The middle class and the idea of contract.

Constitution 601 Theory

There are two basic schools of Constitutional study.
A. The Separation of powers limits the Constitution to what is written.
B. The living Document..The constitution via judicial interpretation evolves to fit the times.
B (1) The opinion of the federal courts may override state law in all cases. ..ie rule a state law null and void(unconstitutional) and set terms for redress
My view is that the Constitution empowers and limits only the Federal government.( The Feds may act in that rare case if the states try to block a federal right and such right is written in the Constitution) I do not support JR.
